I converted the old iWeb site to WordPress.  Why?  Turns out the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) rankings were pathetic…

How pathetic? Not a single keyword from the iWeb site was found by Google. Have a look at this image:

 

After some research I found that iWeb is considered quite poor for business use.  There are specialty tools for increasing rankings, but I found they didn’t help very much.

So I decided that a WordPress site would be a better bet.  The conversion wasn’t too bad, and although there are some minor bugs, it’s not bad all things considered.
